Spider-Varicose Veins

Spider veins are enlarged superficial blood vessels, most commonly on the legs. They are caused by repetitive high impact activities, injuries, pregnancy, and family history.

Larger dilated blood vessels, or varicose veins, are raised above the skin surface and may cause discomfort, and subsequently skin ulcers. These veins can be treated with laser therapy or sclerotherapy, which involves relatively painless injections using the most advanced sclerosing solutions.

Ultrasound guided injections are another state-of-the-art technique to treat deeper varicose veins. Advanced technologies such as ambulatory phlebectomy or endovenous closure can eliminate unattractive or uncomfortable varicose veins completely.
