Hemangioma
Hemangioma Houston TX - Houston Hemangioma
Infantile hemangioma is a benign neoplasm that commonly develops in neonates within their first few months of life. These birthmarks are more common in Caucasians, and girls are three to five times more likely than boys to have a hemangioma. Most infantile hemangiomas undergo rapid initial growth, with a plateau in growth at age 9-10 months, then begin to resolve. The involuting phase extends from 1 year until 5 to 10 years of age.
Whether hemangiomas need to be treated or not is a subject of controversy because most hemangiomas resolve in time without treatment.

Thank You!!!
I have been a patient at
BDA for almost 5 years. During this time I have been treated by every doctor there.
For the last 2 years I have been under the care of Dr. Kimberly Mullinax. Dr. Mullinax is so dedicated and professional; words just won't describe the care she and her team have provided me. I was waiting for Dr. Mullinax who was so concerned about my condition that she made time for me at the end
of the day.
